Welcome to "TAMTA", "The Auction Market Theory Academy". Our Academy embodies the work of professional traders and developers that have been in the vanguard since the 1960's floating above the masses as bubbles of market wisdom. Individuals such as Larry Williams, Pete Steidlmayer, Don Jones, James Dalton, Dr. Steenbarger, and Trevor Harnett, have all contributed in disseminating the tenets of Auction Market Theory along with a wealth of general market experience, market understanding, trading psychology, and trading software. Larry Williams got his start in the markets in the early 60's and is the originator of the indicator " %R " along with the publication of numerous books on trading stocks, bonds, the S & P and commodities. Pete Steidlmayer back in the 1980's licensed his work on Market Profile to the Chicago Board of Trade. It is still being used as a trading model by institutions and professional traders abroad. Due to the work of these individuals, many new opportunities have burst onto the scene including new software development, database development, and refinements into the application of Auction Market Theory. Pete Steidlmayer always encourged his students to make his work their own, and in that spirit, welcome to "TAMTA".

Don Jones, a contimparay with Pete Steidlmayer developed the Liquidity Data Bank for the Chicago Board of Trade during which time his company Cisco Futures was the first to offer databases for the use of Market Profile among the general public. Both Peter and Don are known within the professional ranks as the Godfathers of Auction Market Theory.
